Q: Are your cookies and gingerbread creations really hand-made?
|

A: Yes! We are dedicated to provide our customers with products that are 100% hand-made as if they were coming out of your own kitchen. We carefully select high-quality fresh ingredients in order to make our dough and Royal Icing from scratch. We do not use any pre-made mix whatsoever. We then roll the dough and stamp the shaped cookies using our exclusive cookie cutters molded by hand. Our cookies and other gingerbread creations are then individually decorated 100% by hand by one of our amazing decorators.

Q: What ingredients do you use?
|
|
A: We have been working for over 15 years with various Pastry Chefs to develop our exclusive and delicious recipes most of them based on old-fashioned recipe cards that have been passed from one generation to the next. We do not use any partially hydrogenated ingredients and even our preservative is "green" as we use a mix of Vitamin E and flavorless Rosemary extract. We are proud to have a very clean ingredients statement and one of the longest shelf-life in the industry so you can be assured that your cookies and gingerbread creations will not get stale a couple of days after you receive them.

Q: What flavors are your hand-decorated cookies?
|
|
A: We mainly offer 4 dough flavors: vanilla sugar dough, lemon sugar dough, cinnamon sugar dough and our seasonal old-fashioned German gingerbread recipe. We also occasionally use some other dough flavor like lemon honey, chocolate chips or strawberry sugar dough for limited time items. Our Royal Icing is also often flavored to match the flavor of the cookie it is going to be used on.

Q; Do you make all of your products yourself?
|
|
A: All of our hand-decorated cookies and Gingerbread creations, as well as some of our cakes are baked in our Southern California facility.

Q: Are your food products really made in USA?
|
|
A: At a time when every parent is concerned by the quality of the products they put in their children’s hand, we are very proud to be an all-American manufacturer. We wouldn’t sell anything that we wouldn’t let our own children eat and as such are dedicated to buy ingredients and food products made in the USA or in Europe. We are committed to proving our customers with the country of origin for any food products we are selling not made in the USA because we are proud to support our economy and take great pride in all of our suppliers.

Q: Can you customize some of your product designs or assortments?
|
|
A: At this time we cannot accept request for change in assortments or modification of a design. But we are working on setting up a program allowing us to take custom requests and will keep our customers posted.

Q: How do you personalize your products?
|
|
A: All of our personalized cookies are personalized using Royal Icing (the same recipe we use for the rest of the decoration) and piping the name on the top of the actual cookie. We do not use any edible markers or edible printed paper as some of our competitors. For the Gingerbread creations we are rolling and cutting to size an edible plate made out of petinice (a hard type of marzipan) that is then decorated with your own text and applied to the creation with Royal Icing.

Q: I do not see any photo cookies on your website. How come?
|
|
A: We are dedicated to offering our customers the best 100% hand-decorated products around. Using edible ink printers, food color markers and edible paper requires the help of computers and other machines and do not meet our high-quality standard.

Q: Can you add a logo to a cookie?
|
|

Q: Do you have the capability to take corporate orders?
|
|
A: We do accept corporate orders. We can drop-ship directly to your customers or palletize your order. To receive additional information on our corporate program please call one of our friendly customer service staff at 1-800-937-2213.

Q: What is the shelf-life of your products?
|
|
A: All of the products we manufacture have a minimum of 4 months shelf-life with the exception of our cakes and other delicate confections.

Q: Are you products Kosher?
|
|
A: All of our hand-decorated cookies are kosher certified KSA. Our gingerbread creations as well as most of our other confections and cakes are not kosher certified.

Q: Do I have to refrigerate your products upon arrival?
|
|
A: Our cakes are shipped frozen overnight and need to be refrigerated and consumed within 48 hours upon reception. Our other chocolate items can also be refrigerated upon arrival (especially if you live in one of the warmer states). Our hand-decorated cookies and gingerbread creations should NOT be refrigerated. They need to be kept at dry-room temperature.

Q: How long can I keep my Gingerbread House? Is it possible to store it until next year?
|
|
A: We advise our customers to keep their gingerbread creation in its clear plastic wrapper until they are ready to consume it to avoid eating a food item that has been exposed to dust and other external elements. If you decide to remove the wrapper to enjoy the great smelling Gingerbread during the Holiday season we would like to recommend using your gingerbread creation for decorating purposes only. Some of our customers like to varnish their gingerbread houses and keep it in a dry location until the next year. We would like to discourage you of doing so as every year several small children are getting attracted by the colorful candies on the Gingerbread house and end-up putting a stale chemically varnished candy into their mouth.
